Our Rescue Pets Looking for Love

All of our cats are fully vaccinated, spayed/neutered, microchipped, tested for feline leukemia and feline immunodeficiency virus and dewormed. If a kitten, these services will be provided as part of the rescue program as the kitten ages.

The minimum adoption fee (please contact us for amount) goes towards our Animal Rescue Fund. Our cats are placed in indoor housecat homes unless they have been specifically deemed barn cat adoptees due to poor litterbox habits.

MJ

MJ is a sweet calico lady who was found by a family who thankfully brought her in during the cold snap so she didn't get frostbite. Life was a bit rough for her and when she arrived she was scraggly and skinny and full of parasites - she is much better condition now but we are still finding she has a sensitive tummy.

MJ has short hair, excellent litterbox habits and seems not to mind other cats. We haven't tested her with dogs yet. She is full grown but still very playful but also loves her cuddles - the perfect feline! We all love her and wish she could stay but the lineup for cats needing our help is long.

Luna

Luna post-op In fact, Miss Luna arrived in the rescue this week - she had a fractured leg that even the surgeons didn't think had a good chance of successful healing so Luna had her left hind leg amputated on February 13th. She is doing amazing postop and is already up drinking, eating, purring and doing cat toes!

Luna has a fantastic personality - she's an indoor cat, excellent litterbox habits and she is 9 years old. We also love her very much and would like to keep her but....Dr. Karen says no more clinic cats because we need to keep spots open for rescue cats that need us.

Luna is ready to go to a home anytime now - she will need postop care until about February 23rd and then she should be back up and running and learning to navigate life with three perfectly good legs! Watch for her videos on facebook as she masters the art of three legged feline movement.
