PetAid PARTNERS PROGRAM

What is the program about?

Our PetAid Partners Program aims to partner up pet owners in need in our community with other pet owners in our community who have identified themselves as able to offer assistance.   Our practise will match all PetAid Partner patron donations for pets in need to receive veterinary care at our practise.  

This program is in response to the COVID-19 pandemic and the massive number of pet owners who have now found themselves unemployed and potentially unable to provide urgent veterinary care and quality pet food to their pets.   We all know that pets are an extremely important part of many peoples lives and during this incredibly stressful time worldwide our pets are a source of comfort and joy.  For some, their pets are their only connection during this time and pets play a vital role in maintaining mental health for isolated or marginalized pet owners in our community.   Let's work together to keep everybody's pets healthy and support the more vulnerable members of our community. 

People who can offer support will be partnered up with pet owners in need.  We hope that between the pet owner, our veterinary practise and our PetAid Partner Patrons we will be able to provide the necessary urgent veterinary care and pet food to pets in need in our community.

• Please do not bring donated pet food & supplies to the clinic at this time.
• THIS IS NOT A WALK-IN PROGRAM - WE ARE NOT ABLE TO ACCOMMODATE WALK-INS DURING THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC. 
• PET OWNERS NEEDING ASSISTANCE MUST FILL IN THE SIGN UP SHEET PLEASE.
• WE ARE SCHEDULING CLIENTS STRATEGICALLY TO FACILITATE SOCIAL DISTANCING.  

How Do You Sign Up To Help?

We are looking for:

*PetAid Patrons who can offer financial assistance

*PetAid Patrons who can deliver food and/or medications to clients in need

*PetAid Patrons who can bring pets requiring urgent care to the clinic for clients who are quarantined 

Who will qualify for the PetAid Partner Program?

This is a no questions asked program.  If you have a pet requiring urgent veterinary care and/or pet food and we have a PetAid Partner to match you up with, your pet will receive veterinary care and/or pet food based on your pet's needs and the availability of funds and pet food supplies in the program.

How we hope the PetAid Program will evolve?

We are working with our industry partners to garner as much support as they are able to offer at this time.  We also hope that our colleagues will replicate this program at their practises and we are happy to share our experience, sign up sheets, information etc. to any practise or organization that wishes to do the same in their community.
