COVID-19 PROTOCOLS FOR IN-CLINIC SERVICE
Welcome back into the practise! We would ask that you abide by the following rules to keep yourself and our staff safe. A number of our staff live with immunocompromised individuals so we would request that you please help us keep our team safe, our family members and you safe.
- Only one adult may attend with your pet in the appointment. No children are permitted in the practise at this time.
- You will be asked to answer a COVID survey provided by the Government of Alberta
- Your temperature will be taken with a no-touch thermometer. Any temps over 38.1C are considered a fever and you will not be admitted to the practise
- A mask must be worn at all times covering nose and mouth
- You must sanitize your hands with the hand sanitizer provided upon entry to the clinic
- Please remove all footwear at the door – we provide slippers and slides
- Refrain from touching any objects or surfaces in the clinic please other than what is absolutely necessary
- Please stay seated in the exam room chair and the RVTs will assist the veterinarian with your pet’s examination
- We will check you out in the exam room and bring any necessary medications or foods to you so please remain in the exam room until we can escort you back out the front door
